The GORISK Scientific Network and its activities are currently supported by research institutes and partners on their own funds.
As this situation does not allow a long-term maintenance of volcano monitoring and hazard assessment in the Kivu basin, one of the goals of the GORISK Scientific Network also consist in looking for opportunities and answer national or international calls for coordinated actions or scientific projects.
